Volunteer

We are always seeking born again believers to exchange letters with inmates through Pen Pals for Jesus, our original prison correspondence ministry.

Our pen pal volunteers are greatly blessed with the opportunity to pray for, encourage and befriend our brothers and sisters behind bars.

Pen pals do not share personal or identifying information with inmates and our mailing headquarters' return address is used for all response letters. The process is simple, secure and profoundly rewarding for volunteers.

We are constantly in need of volunteers. At this moment, we have over 300 applications from inmates waiting in our office for volunteers to write them the first letter. Many of our volunteers are writing more than one inmate because we just do not have enough help. God is truly bringing in a harvest through this ministry. “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” (Matthew 9:37).
